Meet the Team
We are a small team based in South West England. We are all volunteers who give our time for free to help rescue and rehome Romanian dogs.
Carol Winter
Chairperson
Chairperson and founder of SOS. Carol has lived with dogs from the day she was born. Carol and her husband Lee run their own doggie daycare centre as well as fostering rescues. They have 8 dogs of their own.
Stef Dua
Trustee
Stef is in charge of the website along with her partner Ben - who provides free tech support and website building! Stef runs a successful dog walking business in Wellington and has two Romanian rescue dogs - Waffles and Molly.
Sharon Webb
Treasurer
Sharon adopted a rescue dog from SOS in 2018 and has followed the charity’s work ever since. She has been running an insurance brokerage with her husband for over 30 years and joined the SOS team as the treasurer in May when the vacancy became available.
Lisa Denson
Trustee
Lisa is Head of Product at the Hydrographic Office in Taunton, she has a 10year old Labrador who goes to Carol’s daycare. Her widowed mother-in-laws life was transformed when she adopted a Romanian rescue dog.
